IN JANUARY-SEPTEMBER, 2011 WHOLESALES OPERATIONS MADE VIA THE PORT IN GIURGIULESTI ROSE 1,4 TIMES TO 924,2 MLN. LEIS

As InfoMarket was said in the ministry of economy, the wholesales were operated by four residents of the port. The volume of services rendered in the port in the framework of secondary activities made up 34,3 mln. leis. This kind of activity is thought to include the construction works the volume of which has made 7,5 mln. leis within 9 months of 2011. The primary construction works were connected with the freight terminal. Danube Logistics, the general investor, owner and operator of the port, rendered the residents leasing services at the sum of 8,4 mln. leis and utility services at 388 thou. leis. Brokerage services was render by two companies and made 1,7 mln. leis within 9 months of 2011. As of the end of September, different taxers and duties paid by the residents of the port of Guirgiulesti made up 115,4 mln. leis, which is 47,3% more as compared with the like period of the past year. In particular, the residents transferred 84,2 mln. leis of excises, 5,4 mln. leis of fees for customs procedures, 20,8 mln. leis of VAT and 2,7 mln. leis of payments in social fund. As of the end of September, debts of the residents to the budget made up 184 thou. leis.

    According to the National Bureau of Statistics, this is 1,2% up as compared with the same period of 2011. In Q1, 2012 the sales turnover of enterprise with retail sales as their primary business line grew 4,4% in comparable prices against numbers of Q1, 2011. The sales turnover of enterprises rendering market services to population increased 18,9% as compared with the previous month and 3,4% as compared with March, 2011. In Q, 1, 2012 their turnover increased 3,7% in comparable prices as compared with Q1, 2011.

    Adjusted to inflation, it grew 4,1% in real terms. The average wage was2957,5 leis if the budget sector and 3423,6 leis in the real sector, growing 11,9% and 8,8% respectively. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the highest average salary was paid to workers of the banking sector and made 7214,8 leis(+15,6% against March, 2011).
